ABOUTCJM Asset Management can trace its raw roots back to 1889 when Charles Dickinson began as an auctioneer and valuer at ‘Lincoln Red Cattle’ and ‘Lincoln Longwool Sheep’. Over the course of the next eight decades the business flourished and expanded into a variety of different fields.
In 1974 Charles Moses joined the company and brought with him a vast amount of industrial auctioneering experience. Under the brand name of ‘Chattel Asses Auctioneering’, the company continued to grow with business assets being auctioned off for a variety of companies including banks, executors and corporate recovery specialists.
In the late 1990’s the company was joined by Paul Cooper and together with Charles, the pair effected a management buyout and in November 2000 CJM Asset Management was created.
The company has continued to grow throughout the 21st century, working on asset disposal for numerous companies including, Siemens, Tata, Toyota, Dyson and many others.
