The spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is already having a major impact on all our lives and businesses and will continue to do so over the coming weeks and months.
Here at Auction News, our staff are working hard, remotely from home, to support our customers through these difficult times.
Although it’s impossible to predict how many auctions will go ahead over the coming weeks, we are currently seeing a number of online auctions still taking place with online-only viewing and storage facilities on offer until the crisis is over. We can assure you we will continue to update our website with as many of these auctions as we possibly can, together with any other news and announcements affecting the auction industry.
To our readers, at the time of writing we are still distributing our Auction News magazine in print. However, in this rapidly changing situation with many auctions being cancelled due to restrictions on public gatherings and social distancing, we can’t be sure how long this will continue.
Please be assured if we are unable to send you your printed magazine, we will extend your subscription by the number of weeks missed.
To our auctioneers, we want to reassure you that we’re here to help when you need us to inform bidders about your online auctions.
With ever stricter controls being introduced, there’s no getting away from the fact that the coming months are going to be tough for everyone. We sincerely hope that you and your family keep safe and well and urge everyone to follow the strict government guidelines so we can get through this challenging period and come out stronger on the other side.
