BPI employees have raised an outstanding £51,714 for charitable causes across the UK during the 2024/25 financial year, underlining the company’s strong commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
Throughout the year, fundraising activities ranged from charity golf days and a Macmillan Coffee Morning to Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day and participation in the Fashion Ball in aid of Business Beats Cancer. Colleagues also supported numerous other causes, including Yorkshire Cancer, NSPCC, Portobello Community Centre, Barnardo’s and Cure Leukaemia.
The money raised will help fund critical services - from cancer research and treatment, to child protection, local community support and care for people living with serious illnesses.
David Boulton, Managing Director at BPI, commented:
“The generosity and enthusiasm of our colleagues never fails to inspire me. Raising over £51,000 in a single year is a fantastic achievement. I’m incredibly proud of how our teams consistently rally behind such important causes - it speaks volumes about the values we share at BPI and our commitment to making a difference both within the business and beyond.”
This fundraising success forms part of BPI’s broader CSR strategy, which puts a strong focus on causes that matter to its employees and their local communities. Many of the year’s fundraising events were led and driven by team members, showcasing the passion and purpose at the heart of the organisation.
Looking ahead, BPI is already planning a fresh calendar of events and activities to continue the momentum into the new financial year.
