Auctioneer Thanks Team for Another Solid Year of Trading

National auction house John Pye & Sons Ltd, headquartered in Nottingham, is sharing its success by allocating 40% of profits to staff bonuses after surpassing £40 million in turnover for its latest financial year.

Consistently committed to rewarding its team, John Pye has distributed over £4 million in bonuses to employees over the past three years.

The company achieved more than a 30% growth compared to its 2021/2022 trading year.

Announcing the results, Managing Director Adam Pye said:
"While achieving our highest-ever revenue last year, it was an unusual trading year due to significant insolvency projects, including the sale of assets from MADE.com and Moore Large. This year’s results reflect solid growth against our most recent like-for-like trading year."

He continued:
"We’ve heavily invested in new sites, digital innovation, and enhancing customer experience. With nearly one million bidder registrations and a growing portfolio of major retail clients, we’re looking forward to launching a new blended commerce model. None of this would be possible without our incredible team, whose hard work and dedication make this success possible – they fully deserve this recognition.”

In addition to the annual bonus, John Pye offers an exclusive £6,000 quarterly award for exceptional employees. The Don Burton Award, named in memory of the long-serving team member who exemplified outstanding dedication during his 36 years at the firm, recognises individuals who go above and beyond expectations.
