The truck was subjected to 40% Ferric Chloride contamination in December 2024 following a chemical spill due to an IBC Failure.
The truck was transporting 1000 Litre IBC Tanks containing Ferric Chloride, and during unloading operations, a forklift truck pierced one of the IBC Tanks, causing the acid to leak out onto the vehicle (see last photo).
Damages include but may not be limited to: corrosion and/or localised pitting evident on chassis, chassis rails, side rails, fuel tank, mounting points to crane, gearbox, compressed air tanks etc

The unit starts and runs; however, due to the length of time it has been stationary, it may require a jump start. Winching onto transport may be advisable.
Storage is paid up to and including 10th February; if the unit remains on site after this date, then storage charges will start to accrue on the buyer's account at £25/day plus VAT.
