Bidpath Foundation Launches Gavel Art Trail & Charity Auction 2025

Auction News is proud to share news of the Bidpath Foundation Gavel Art Trail & Auction 2025, a nationwide initiative combining creativity, community and charity.

From September to October 2025, 15 striking gavel sculptures will be displayed at locations across the UK. Each piece has been designed by a leading artist, symbolising strength, hope and imagination. The trail aims to inspire communities and raise vital funds for three important charities:

• The Brain Tumour Charity

• The National Brain Appeal

• The International Children’s Palliative Care Network (ICPCN)

A Tribute to George

The Bidpath Foundation was launched in honour of George, a much-valued colleague at Bidpath. In April 2024, George was diagnosed with a double brain tumour, a life-changing challenge faced with immense courage and determination. His journey has deeply moved those around him, inspiring colleagues and friends to raise awareness and support underrepresented charities.

The Foundation’s mission is to provide ongoing support for organisations that make a difference in the lives of individuals facing the most difficult circumstances.

Culminating in a Live Online Auction

The Gavel Art Trail will culminate in a live online charity auction on 6 November 2025, hosted at bidpath.wildinartauctions.com. Supporters can register online to view the full catalogue and place their bids.

This initiative not only showcases the creativity of renowned artists but also reimagines the gavel as a powerful symbol of the auction industry – representing tradition, strength and unity in the drive to create change.
