BTG Eddisons Property Auctions has generated £27m in sales through its October national auctions, including an industry-first in-room auction held at the National Landlord Investment Show (NLIS) in London.
The live event, hosted at Old Billingsgate, gave sellers the opportunity to present their properties to an audience of active landlords, investors and developers, alongside a nationwide pool of online bidders. The auction formed the first day of a two-day live stream event, with the second day taking place at the auctioneer’s Nottingham studio.
The hybrid format combined traditional in-room bidding with online, telephone and proxy options, with both days streamed to a national audience. Five auctioneers from the BTG Eddisons Property Auctions team took to the rostrum across the event: Andrew Parker, Edward Feather, Richard Worrall, Graham Penny and Lucy Crapper.
The October programme also included a separate two-day online auction with a 24-hour bidding window, alongside two white-label partner agent auctions. In total, 379 lots were offered throughout the month, attracting more than 3,000 bids.
The London showcase provided an opportunity to demonstrate how property auctions can connect sellers with a broad audience of potential buyers, while offering investors and developers opportunities to acquire assets. The latest results also contribute to a strong year for the business, which has now generated £250m in sales during 2026.
Andrew Parker, Managing Director of BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said: "It has been fantastic to round off another successful national auction delivering brilliant results for our clients and great opportunities for the buyers, which was enhanced even further by another successful in-room showcase at the National Landlord Investment Show. The show at the Old Billingsgate was an apt venue to demonstrate how the auctions delivered by our hard-working team of experts provide opportunities for investors, landlords, developers and property professionals, alongside the latest advancements in live stream and online auctions.
"Bringing together the thrill of the traditional in-room auction with the latest in digital-first live stream auction technology, the event showed how human interaction and relationships combine with tech innovation to deliver the best service and outcome for buyers and sellers needing the speed, certainty and transparency that has made the route grow in popularity, as well as a wider national reach.
“Auctions are a helpful strategic tool for quickly unlocking value, for individuals or businesses, and along with the teams across BTG’s range of expert services, we are able to support clients their growth goals as they navigate challenging conditions. We look forward to continuing to showcase how we are innovating and leading in the world of auctions as more buyers and sellers choose this route."
