BTG Eddisons Property Auctions is set to mark a significant milestone in its continued expansion with a major live auction showcase at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane Stadium on 24th June, coinciding with the launch of its first ever two-day monthly live stream auction format.
The event will bring together invited guests for a behind-the-scenes look at how a large-scale, digital-first property auction operates in practice. Attendees will be able to experience the pace, structure and delivery of an online live stream auction while also connecting with investors, clients and industry professionals from across the UK.
The showcase will be led from the rostrum by Auctioneer Adrian Little, alongside Lucy Crapper, who recently joined the BTG Eddisons Property Auctions team earlier this month. Together, they will conduct bidding throughout the day, demonstrating the energy and efficiency of the modern auction environment.
From June, BTG Eddisons Property Auctions will formally transition to a new monthly two-day live stream auction format. Scaling up its established model in response to growing demand from both buyers and sellers and enabling an increased volume of lots to be brought to market nationwide.
The change represents a notable operational step forward for the business, which currently handles around 400 residential, commercial, land and development lots each month across the UK.
Guests attending the showcase will be able to experience the auction in person, while the sale itself will be live streamed to a national audience. Bidding will take place remotely via the internet, as well as by proxy, telephone, and in the auction room, reflecting the multi-channel approach that underpins the firm’s model.
Andrew Parker, Partner and Auctioneer at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said: “This event is an opportunity to showcase our auctions and give clients and contacts genuine insight into how a major modern property auction business operates.”
“The move to a two-day monthly live stream auction format reflects continued growth in demand from both buyers and sellers, as well as the increasing scale of our operation nationally.”
“Our live stream model continues as normal, with bidding taking place remotely across a national audience of buyers, but hosting this event allows guests to experience first-hand the scale, pace and expertise involved in a large live auction.”
BTG Eddisons Property Auctions was formed through the integration of regional brands Pugh, SDL Property Auctions, Mark Jenkinson and Network Auctions, creating the UK’s second largest property auction business by volume of lots.
