William George’s first live webcast plant and machinery sale was a roaring success and we’d like to thank everyone involved in making it such an exciting event.
Sale highlights from the online auction included a huge selection of commercial vehicles such as Mercedes Sprinters, Iveco Daily and Ford Transits. Other notable sales include several welfare units, portable water tanks, generators, dumpers and much more. The eclectic catalogue of plant and machinery attracted hundreds of bidders to the auction from as far afield as Cyprus, Romania and even Nigeria.
Auctioneer, David Palmer, was once again on fine form with his famous brand of humour and quick quips bringing a thrilling enthusiasm to the sale. Jake Margiotta, Head of Business Development at William George was impressed with the results after a change of format from timed online. "Hosting our monthly plant & machinery auction as a live webcast auction allowed us to reach a whole new audience. This format allows bidders the opportunity to bid at their own convenience, by leaving autobids in the days prior to the sale, leaving telephone or commission bids, or by waiting for the excitement of the live sale." "We have seen an increased sell-through rate and we are linking more buyers with the right machines than ever before."
Every month you can bid on a wide selection of new and used machinery whether you’re looking for agricultural, construction or industrial equipment.
