Rocking Automotive have signed a New Partnership with IT Fleet Automotive

City Auction Group the driving force behind Rockingham Automotive has signed a new partnership with IT Fleet Automotive to provide a range of defleet services to existing and potential new customers at the group’s Rockingham facility to compliment the upgrade of facilities within the new 100 acre fortress, one of the largest in Europe.

IT Fleet Automotive has successfully partnered with City Auction Group in Belfast over the past 12 months and is now taking 8-10 acres at Rockingham to service major corporates, such as LeasePlan, Alphabet, Arval, PSA Finance and Motability.

The partners will be storing vehicles at Rockingham, as well as offering its full suite of defleet and remarketing solutions to ensure they achieve traction at the centrally located hub.

City Auction Group CEO Michael Tomalin said: “We are very excited about this new partnership for Rockingham, as it will enable us to offer our mutual vendors a complete range of defleet services including collection, vehicle inspection, refurbishment and resale. The investment at Rockingham continues with the opening of the Corporate Business HQ in Q2 to further compliment the upgrade of facilities to enable vendors to hold conferences, business meetings and attend the facilities to oversee services on a daily basis.” IT Fleet Automotive MD Andrew Timmis said: “Rockingham is an excellent strategic base for us, complementing our other locations in the Midlands, the North and the SE England.
