The Manchester office of Sanderson Weatherall, acting on behalf of Patrick Lannagan and Richard Hough of Forvis Mazars LLP, the Joint Administrators of Malpas Tractors (Wrexham) Limited, successfully conducted a major two-day online auction on 27th and 28th February 2025. The sale featured over 900 lots of agricultural machinery, vehicles and equipment, attracting unprecedented levels of interest from buyers across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
The auction included an extensive selection of high-quality agricultural machinery including tractors, grass, arable and handling machinery, workshop equipment, unused spares and consumables, and vans and pick-up trucks (mainly ‘18/’19 Reg). The variety and quality of the lots contributed to the significant engagement from bidders.
“We had phenomenal interest in this sale, with just short of 1,200 prospective purchasers registering,” said Kris Taylor of Sanderson Weatherall. “This is the most we have ever had in almost 20 years of running online auctions. We had interest from all parts of the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe including a buyer from Cyprus who made some meaningful purchases.”

Merlo TF42 Telehandler ('20 Reg) – Sold for £46,000
Case Puma 150 Tractor ('67 Reg) – Sold for £39,500
Kuhn Maxima 3 RX E Pneumatic Seed Drill (2021) – Sold for £41,000
Kuhn FBP 3135 Bale Wrapper – Sold for £31,500
