Three of the UK’s leading property auction businesses - North West-based Pugh, East Midlands’ SDL Property Auctions and Yorkshire firm Mark Jenkinson - are joining forces to operate under a single national brand: BTG Eddisons Property Auctions. Together, the three firms sold over £375 million of property in 2025 and the merger creates one of the largest property auction businesses in the UK.
The combined business will provide a full spectrum of auction formats, including live-streamed, multi-lot timed and single-lot timed auctions, with approximately 400 lots offered each month. These will cover residential and commercial properties, land and development opportunities, giving clients nationwide access to a broad property offering.
The unification forms part of the wider rebrand of Begbies Traynor Group to BTG. Leeds-headquartered property consultancy Eddisons, which joined BTG 11 years ago, has been renamed BTG Eddisons as part of the changes. London-based Network Auctions, acquired by BTG Eddisons at the end of last year, will also adopt the BTG Eddisons Property Auctions identity, further expanding the group’s national footprint.
Andrew Parker, partner and auctioneer at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said:
"This is an exciting step for our clients and the property auction market nationally. While the name is changing, the teams and expertise that our clients know and trust remain exactly the same. By unifying our operations, we can offer a wider range of auctions, reach more buyers and sellers and provide a consistent, high-quality service across the country."
"Bringing our teams together under a single banner enables clients to access a fully national service, without losing the local knowledge and relationships that have made each auctions business so successful."
Anthony Spencer, managing partner at BTG Eddisons, added:
"By bringing these three auction houses together under one brand, we can offer clients scale, expertise and a broader range of options than ever before. Importantly, this is about strengthening the auction offer rather than disrupting it. Clients will continue to work with the same expert auctions professionals, but now with enhanced access to the full BTG network of financial and real estate services."
Operating across the UK through a network of local offices, BTG Eddisons Property Auctions continues to innovate with technology-enabled sales, including live-streamed and multi-lot timed auctions. This ensures buyers and sellers can transact efficiently anywhere in the country, combining national reach with local expertise.
