Fire damage is primarily around the engine and operator's cabin, three of the four tyres had burst in the fire. The steel panels of the engine compartment had deformed above the wheels. The near-side panel had detached from the engine cover. Fuel Filler nozzle had ruptured and partially detached from the tank. The majority of the aluminium and low-melting-point alloys of the engine had melted in the fire including the alternator housing, the starter motor mounts, and the gearbox casing.
There is low loader access to the site, proving weather is dry. No loading assistance available. Preference is to be craned rather than being pushed on. Uplift within 7 days of auction end from its current location in East Linton, Edinburgh, Scotland.
