Salvue Marketplace is offering approximately 5,500 smoke-affected pet products, located in Wolverhampton.
The goods were exposed to light smoke following a fire in an adjoining building in August 2026. No fire-extinguishing fluids came into contact with the stock, and the majority of items reportedly have no noticeable smoke odour.
Lots to include:
- Pet soft toys
- Beds
- Collars
- Leads
- Blankets
- Coats
- Training aids and accessories for dogs, cats and small animals
All goods are sold as insurance salvage. Buyers are responsible for inspection, cleaning and decontamination before resale, including removal of original retailer price stickers.
It is an express condition of sale that the buyer must inspect all goods for signs of contamination and arrange any necessary cleaning and decontamination before onward resale.
The buyer is responsible for all associated inspection, cleaning and decontamination costs and must ensure that any contamination-related risks are adequately addressed before resale.
Any items that cannot be satisfactorily cleaned, decontaminated or made safe must not be resold and must be disposed of in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Collection:
Most of the stock has already been boxed and will be palletised in preparation for collection. The consignment is expected to occupy approximately 4–5 pallets.
A pallet truck available on-site, and staff can assist with loading. However, the buyer must ensure that a suitable collection vehicle equipped with a tail lift is provided.
Goods must be removed within 5 days of receiving your invoice.
