Wakefield-based Asset Disposal firm BPI has successfully attained ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, marking a significant milestone poised to elevate operational efficiency and customer satisfaction throughout 2024.
ISO 9001:2015, a globally acknowledged standard for quality management, necessitates adherence to specific requirements. These include the monitoring of customer satisfaction, addressing potential risks, maintaining consistently high quality, and upholding reliable services.¹
Overseen by BPI's Operations Director, Henry Spencer, and supported by Operations Manager David Hennessy, the project's key success factor involved fostering a collaborative approach with employees to inspire motivation and a sense of accomplishment. The ISO accreditation is expected to drive ongoing innovation within the organization, particularly by identifying opportunities for advancement.
In managing end-to-end asset disposal for diverse businesses, BPI has refined its processes by establishing a new Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards. This has resulted in improved internal collaborative processes, contributing to an enhanced customer experience.
The accreditation is designed to bolster customer satisfaction by enabling businesses to streamline operations, reduce errors, proactively address potential issues, and leverage customer feedback for continuous improvements.
Operations Director Henry Spencer comments on the achievement: “Having a QMS of ISO 9001:2015’s standard demonstrates our commitment to fulfilling customer requirements, enhancing their satisfaction, and demonstrating our commitment to quality. By working under customer-centric requirements, we hope to drive increased customer loyalty and a better reputation in the market.
“Simultaneously, we have undergone a new strategic rebrand and website as we strive to be the go-to industrial marketplace for businesses that are retiring, relocating, restructuring, liquidating or companies who simply need to free up space, generate cash flow or achieve environmental targets.
“Obtaining this accreditation aligns with BPI's new brand, long-term goals and strategic vision to achieve a standard of the utmost quality and lends itself to a culture of continuous improvement. ISO 9001:2015 requires us to continuously assess and improve our processes, driving innovation and ensuring we remain competitive over time.”
