Euro Auctions has confirmed the acquisition of Canadian firm Weaver Auctions, marking a further step in the group’s international expansion and strengthening its presence across North America.
The deal adds two additional Canadian auction locations to the Euro Auctions network and forms part of a wider growth strategy that has seen the group increase global auction activity and revenues. With the addition of the Weaver sites, Euro Auctions now operates seven locations across Canada and 18 sites worldwide, hosting more than 300 auctions annually.
Weaver Auctions operates from Rycroft, Alberta and Prince George, British Columbia, where it has developed a solid reputation serving the construction and agricultural equipment sectors throughout Western Canada.
Following the acquisition, the business becomes part of Euro Auctions’ growing Canadian portfolio, joining established brands including Michener Allen, Jardine Auctioneers, North Toronto Auction and Coast2Coast Collector Car Auctions.
The existing Weaver Auctions management team and staff will remain in place, including co-owners Jeff and Yvette Weaver. Their continued involvement will ensure operational continuity and maintain the long-standing customer relationships built across the region. The family-run structure also aligns closely with Euro Auctions’ own business ethos.
Bringing Weaver Auctions into the group further increases equipment volumes within the global network while widening access for international buyers.
Derek Keys of Euro Auctions commented:
“The acquisition of Weaver Auctions is an important step in strengthening our global platform. Canada is a key market for construction and agricultural equipment and integrating Weaver into our network enhances the scale and international reach we can offer vendors.”
The announcement follows a strong year of trading for the Euro Auctions group in 2025, which included:
A double-digit increase in group revenue year-on-year
Three acquisitions in Canada, including Jardine Auctions, North Toronto Auctions and Associated Auto Auctions / Coast 2 Coast
The opening of a new Republic of Ireland auction site
More than 300 auction events held across global locations
Demand across the construction, agriculture and industrial sectors has remained robust, supported by ongoing infrastructure projects, equipment fleet renewals and strong international demand for used machinery.
With an expanded Canadian footprint, continued investment across the United States and increased activity throughout Europe, Euro Auctions is entering 2026 with strong momentum. The group is also planning further infrastructure investment across mainland Europe, Ireland and the UK.
Keys added:
“With revenue growth, increased auction activity and continued investment in infrastructure, we are well positioned to support our customers across the UK and Europe while expanding our international footprint. Our strategy remains focused on strategic expansion, operational efficiency and strengthening our global buyer base.”
Further updates on auction schedules and developments across the Euro Auctions network are expected to be announced in the coming months.
