BPI has announced its involvement in the Bidpath Foundation’s Gavel Art Trail & Auction 2025 – a nationwide fundraising initiative supporting three vital charities: The National Brain Appeal, The Brain Tumour Charity and the International Children’s Palliative Care Network (ICPCN).
Running from 1 September to 31 October 2025, the Gavel Art Trail showcases 15 striking gavel sculptures created by artists across the UK. Each design demonstrates how art can raise awareness and inspire action for important causes.
BPI is proud to sponsor The White Rose, a sculpture by artist Cathy Simpson. Inspired by Yorkshire’s iconic white rose, the nature-led design reflects themes of renewal and second chances – a fitting connection to the auction industry. Visitors can view the gavel on display at BPI’s Head Office in Normanton, West Yorkshire.
David Boulton, Director at BPI, commented:
“We’re proud to support the Bidpath Foundation Gavel Art Trail and Auction in aid of three incredible charities improving the lives of those affected by brain tumours and life-limiting conditions. By sponsoring a gavel, we’re helping to fund pioneering research, improve specialist care and give a voice to those often overlooked.”
Funds raised will go towards life-changing research, early diagnosis initiatives, and essential care services for people living with brain conditions, as well as palliative support for children and families worldwide.
