Unique auction of TV equipment used to film top sporting, music and entertainment events achieves record breaking sales

On behalf of the joint Administrators of Arena Television Limited (in Administration). Hickman Shearer and CA Global Partners offered a selection of Outside Broadcasting trucks to cameras, lenses, hundreds of kilometres of cabling and more during a series of auctions resulting in over £8.5million sales from the auction and 94% of the assets sold and cleared within 13 weeks. 

Other key facts about this significant auction which received interest from all over the world to buy equipment from a part of British Broadcasting history is highlighted in the attached infographic. This includes the Joint Administrators highlighting that, “The auction strategy has realised significantly more than the sale of business and assets in one package would have achieved.”
