There is no onsite parking but plenty of street parking locally.

BIDDING & REGISTRATION

Prospective Bidders must register or login if already registered via the Register/Bid Live button bid.tsauction.co.uk.

For those who do not or cannot register to bid online or do not have the hardware to do so, we are happy to exercise commission bids on your behalf, providing you have inspected the goods in question.

DEPOSIT:

A £1,000 deposit will be taken from all bidders on registering for this auction. The deposit can be taken from a debit or credit card when registering on bid.tsauction.co.uk. Deposits from unsuccessful bidders will be refunded in full the day following the auction. Some banks take longer than others to process refunds. (The auctioneers cannot be held responsible for any deficit in deposit refunds because of exchange rate fluctuations)

BIDDING:

Bidding will close from 12 noon on Wednesday 9th July 2025. The closing time of each batch of 3 lots will be staggered by 1 minute. If a bid is made on any lot during the final 5 minutes the bidding time of that lot will automatically be extended for a further five minutes.

Invoices will be sent to successful purchasers by email once the entire sale has concluded. No sale is confirmed until an invoice has been issued.

BUYERS PREMIUM:

There will be a 3.5% buyers’ premium on each lot, subject to a minimum of £10.

VALUE ADDED TAX:

All lots will carry VAT at the standard rate which will be added to all accounts unless otherwise stated. VAT invoices will be issued.

OVERSEAS PURCHASERS:

We will do our utmost to assist with post Brexit export regulations. We are aware that the requirement for customs declarations when purchasing goods from our UK sales and exporting to the EU is complex. All export buyers must contact us prior to purchasing to clarify what extra information you will require. We will provide our EORI number on all export invoices and can arrange customs declarations at cost. We are working with a Customs Clearance Agents who will assist us with relevant declarations to enable equipment to leave England. The purchaser is responsible for all transportation from there onwards.

Purchasers alone are responsible to ensure that the country of destination has no import or currency restrictions on the goods you wish to purchase. Our normal terms of business otherwise apply, and payment is due in full on the day of sale. Please note that all new overseas customers will be required to pay a VAT deposit.

PAYMENT:

Methods of payment are Bank transfer or Debit card. Cash & Debit Card payments will only be accepted in person at our Reading office.

We do not accept credit card payments.

Payment in Cash: In order to comply with money laundering regulations we will not accept payments in cash exceeding £8,000. Cash payments in excess of £4,000 must be accompanied by valid proof of identity ie. passport/driving licence, supported by 2 utility bills, bank statement or equivalent. Cash payments via your bank are not permitted.

ANY CASH PAYMENT MUST BE MADE AT OUR READING OFFICE.

The Auctioneers will only accept payment from and permit removal of goods purchased by the successful purchased or their duly appointed agent. No lots will be transferred to third party invoices after the auction.

For the avoidance of doubt please note that this auction will be conducted in British pounds (£)

LOADOUT

Due to the confined nature of the premises, loadout will be strictly by appointment with the auctioneers on 0118 950 8611.

Buyers of the cabins , lots 111 -129, must send appropriate hiab lorries to load.

Please note that all lots remain at the risk of the buyer from the fall of the hammer and it is strongly advised to effect insurance immediately.

All lots should be paid for immediately and removed from site as soon as possible after the auction, but in any event no later than 4pm on Wednesday 16th July 2025.
